Curriculum Vitae, or CV, is another kind of resume that is seen more often in the Arts sector.  The CV highlights your academic and professional history, and any awards or accomplishments.  Where a resume tends to be 1 page long, a CV can be 3+ for experienced or senior level professionals.  

NOTE: It can be helpful to have a "full" CV which lists ALL of your experience and history, but also keep a copy or two of shorter, more relevant history to provide to specific clients. For example; A Grant submission or Institution may want your entire CV, but a shorter, tailored version may be best for a press release or smaller venue.  

Multidisciplinary artists may wish to keep a CV for specific works. EX: a CV for your poetry work, and a CV for your paintings.
